Location

The villa is perched on the hills south of Florence, in a historic area called "Paradiso degli Alberti" (the name comes from the famous architect Leon Battista Alberti, who lived there).

Immersed in the green Tuscan countryside, the luxury villa is the ideal accommodation for relaxing and cultural holidays. Florence historic centre and its widely renowned monuments are easily reached both by bus (a bus stop is within a few dozen metres of the entry to the estate) and on foot. Situated along an ancient road connecting Florence to the Chianti region, the villa is also an excellent departure point for visiting the area in which the famous red wine is produced, Siena, Arezzo, San Gimignano, Lucca, Pisa and many other Tuscan cities of art.


Description

The property comprises the main villa and an annex dating to the 14th century, which in the past were part of a large estate and were used as guestrooms and hunting lodge.

A large garden dotted with fruit and olive trees and decorated with ancient terracotta pots surrounds the buildings. The garden is furnished with outdoor tables and chairs for guests to have their breakfast al fresco or to arrange a romantic dinner surrounded by squirrels and pheasants.

The private swimming pool is exclusively reserved to guests.

In winter, guests can relax by the Tuscan sandstone fireplace and enjoy the old-time atmosphere.

In the event that guests decide not to use the annex, it will remain vacant. The guests living in the main villa will thus be granted the exclusive use of the outdoors.

The villa is provided with Internet wi-fi connection. Two bedrooms are air conditioned and some portable air conditioners are at guests' disposal.
Some bicycles, a baby sitter and a domestic help are available upon request.

The main villa offers five large bedrooms that can be arranged as either double or twin rooms (upon request), and a single sofa bed in the living room. Three bedrooms have an ensuite bathroom.
The annex composes of kitchen, a bedroom that can be arranged as either a double or a twin room (upon request), a double sofa bed and a bathroom.
